New iMac - No Redesign - 1080P Cam + More

It's been a long wait but finally, Apple has updated the iMac today. The release has come as a surprise as we've been waiting since March for an update. Of course, no redesign but we have got a nice internal spec bump and a few changes that are welcome since it is 2020 after all.

The new iMac update inculdes:

- 10th gen Intel Comet Lake

- AMD Radeon Pro 5000

- New microphones

- True Tone

- Option for the nano-texture technology

- 1080p webcam!

- 16GB RAM is now standard

- SSD as standard across all models!

- T2 chip

- Truetone display

Starts at $1,799

The biggest updates are the inclusion of SSD and T2 chip. This brings the iMac up to date with better base configs. The base model 27ich now comes with 16GB of ram instead of 8 found previously. You can also add up to 128GB of ram and bump internal storage to an impressive 8TB!

We will keep you up to date with the iMac release. Let us know in the comments if you will be upgrading or will you waiting for the long-awaited redesign which is speculated to be released next year with Apples new chipsets.
